All candidates must be in possession of the appropriate provisional driving licence before commencing LGV training

The LGV man insurance covers the use of our vehicles by candidates for the purpose of training and while accompanied by an examiner for test purposes. The LGV Man cannot accept responsibility for any personal injury, or loss, or damage to candidates possessions howsoever caused.

Once a booking has been made and a deposit paid this forms a contract. We regret that we are unable to refund deposits unless the candidate has their licence revoked for medical reasons.

Notice of cancellation of a course must be received at our office no less than 14 working days prior to the start date of the course. If cancellation is not received until after this date, The LGV Man reserves the right to charge the full outstanding balance.

If the course has to be cancelled due to unforeseen medical reasons or physical incapacity, we reserve the right to retain all monies paid to us. Once in receipt of a medical certificate we will re-book the remaining period of the course at the earliest possible date. Non-arrival on any day without due notice will result in that days fee being forfeited.

We will make every effort to ensure that courses go ahead as arranged. We cannot however be held responsible for disruptions caused by staff illness, unforeseen mechanical breakdown, inclement weather or postponement of the test by the Driving Standards Agency.

Should such disruption occur we will endeavour to ensure that candidates receive the correct amount of tuition prior to their test.

The LGV Man reserves the right to curtail training should the candidate prove to be unwilling to carry out instructions given or is felt to be a danger to themselves, other road users or our staff. We will also cease training should the candidate display signs of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs or any other inappropriate behaviour.

The LGV Man reserves the right to withhold the use of the company’s vehicles and staff if for any reason the candidate has not reached the required standard to drive safely without instruction.

The Driving Standards Agency require 10 working days notice of cancellation, therefore it is unlikely that a refund of the test fee will be available in the event of the above.
We reserve the right to vary or alter without notice any of the conditions above.
